Important information about data processing in connection with Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited. If the controller of the data collected by this website is located outside the European Economic Area and Switzerland, the processing of data associated with Google Analytics is carried out by Google LLC (based in the USA). Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC are hereinafter referred to as “Google”. The use of Google Analytics involves the technical processing of data. In this context, reference is made to the privacy policy and the site operator has a dual responsibility for data protection in connection with the use of Google Analytics on the site.

Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on the website visitor's computer and enable analysis of the visitor's use of the website. The information generated by the cookie (including the shortened IP address) about website use is transmitted to and stored by Google.

Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are stored on the website visitor's computer and enable analysis of the visitor's use of the website. The information generated by the cookie (including the shortened IP address) about website use is transmitted to and stored by Google.

Google Analytics is used on this website exclusively with the “_anonymizeIp()” extension. This extension anonymizes the IP address by truncation, thus excluding any direct personal reference. With the aid of this extension, Google shortens the IP address of website visitors who are located in a member state of the European Union or in another state party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the visitor's full IP address be transmitted to a Google server and shortened in the USA. The IP address provided by the Internet browser of the visitor to the website using Google Analytics will not be combined by Google with other Google data.

Google uses the information collected to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other Internet services connected or linked to the website ( Article 6-1.f RGPD). The interest in data processing is justified by the optimization of the website, the analysis of its use and the personalization of its content, made possible by Jimdo's statistics function. The interests of users are adequately protected by the pseudonymization of their data.

Google LLC guarantees to maintain an adequate level of data protection in accordance with European standard contractual clauses. Data sent and linked to Google Analytics cookies, such as user IDs and advertising IDs, are automatically deleted after 50 months. Data that has reached its retention period is automatically deleted once a month.

Website visitors may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate option in their browser. You can also prevent Google from collecting data (including your IP address) using cookies and from processing this data by downloading and installing the following plug-in in your Internet browser: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Website visitors can prevent the collection of data by Google Analytics by clicking on this link. An “opt-out” cookie is then installed, enabling website visitors not to be tracked when browsing the site.

Further information on the processing and use of data by Google, settings and deactivation options can be found in the Google Analytics terms of use or in the Google privacy policy.
In accordance with applicable laws and the GDPR, visitors to the website have certain rights in relation to their personal data processed by the Google Analytics data processing system. In particular, you have the right to access, rectify, port and delete your data. Website visitors also have the right to object to certain processing of their data.
